Collected and curated for the first time in The Nellie Bly Collection are the articles written by pioneering journalist Nellie Bly across her historic career.
Volume I: The Books
In additional to her reporting, Nellie Bly also published four books. For the first time, they are presented in a single volume: “Ten Days In A Mad-House”; “Around The World In 72 Days”; “Six Months In Mexico”; and Nellie Bly’s novel “The Mystery of Central Park.”
Volume II: The Pittsburg Dispatch
Nellie Bly’s historic journalism career began in her hometown of Pittsburg, PA. This volume contains over 80 articles from her time writing for The Pittsburg Dispatch, many of which haven’t seen the light of day since they were published over 130 years ago.
Volume III: The World
(1887-1888)
Nellie Bly comes alive writing for Joseph Pulitzer at The World in New York. Beginning with her infamous insane asylum story to her trip around the world to exposing crooked politicians and baby-brokers to interviews with the nation’s First Ladies, Nellie becomes more than a reporter… she is a sensation!
Volume IV: The World
(1889-1890)
Nellie By continues her historic run at The World with articles on the plight of women in society, the first ever interview with Helen Keller, a stab at some fiction and a recounting of her historic trip around the world!
