In 1890, Nellie Bly would take a hiatus from writing for THE WORLD. During that time, she wrote fiction for Norman Muno’s FAMILY STORY PAPER. Unfortunately, these issues were lost over time. However, a sister publication from England, LONDON STORY PAPER was discovered with 11 Nellie Bly full-length fiction stories.

Presented here are the opening chapters of each of Nellie Bly’s stories from the LONDON STORY PAPER, along with issues where she was featured on “Page 1” with accompanying artwork. Because many additional pages are unreadable, only two stories – Alta Lynn, M.D. and Twins and Rivals – are currently able to be presented in full.
